Single Entry Tourist Visas are usually valid for entry for 3 months from date of issue. Upon entry within that 3 month period, the holder will be permitted to stay for 60 days (includes the day of arrival). For example, if you arrive the day before the Visa expires, you will still receive a 60 day permission to stay.
However, once you are already in Thailand and wish to stay longer, you can get an extension for another period of 30 days at a Thai Immigration Office. Moreover, this type of visa can be converted to another type of long term Non-immigrant Visa, Guradian Visa, Marriage Visa, Retirement Visa , Education Visa except Non-immigrant B Visa.

- Passport or travel document with a validity of not less than 6 months
- Visa application form (filled out)

- Proof of financial means (20,000 baht per person / 40,000 baht per family)
- Proof of Hotel or private accommodation

Visitors with 30-day transit visas may extend them for another seven days while those with 60-day tourist visas may extend these another 30 days at Pattaya Immigration Offices.
These are the documents you need for Extend Tourist Visa:
