Tourists holding a 60-day visa can apply for a 30-day extension, allowing a total stay of up to 90 days. Those who entered under the visa exemption scheme (initially permitted a 60-day stay) can also extend their stay by an additional 30 days.
It’s advisable to apply for the extension before your current visa or entry stamp expires. Applying a week in advance is recommended to avoid last-minute issues.
Required Documents for applying for a Tourist visa extension in Pattaya
When applying for a visa extension, ensure you have the following documents:
- Completed TM.7 Form: This is the official application form for extending your stay. You can obtain it at the immigration office or download it online.
- Passport or travel document with a validity of not less than 6 months
- Visa application form (filled out)
- One (1) recent 4x6cm. photograph of the applicant
- Round-trip air ticket or e-ticket (paid in full)
- Proof of financial means (20,000 baht per person / 40,000 baht per family)
- Proof of Hotel or private accommodation

Extension Tourist Visa Pattaya
Visitors with 30-day transit visas may extend them for another seven days while those with 60-day tourist visas may extend these another 30 days at Pattaya Immigration Offices.
These are the documents you need for Extend Tourist Visa:
